A Siri-ously Epic Mother’s Day Show [May 8, 2015]

FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2015 (6pm ET/3pm PT) What is Mother’s Day? It’s not a Jeopardy! response and you don’t need Siri to answer the question. But this week on Kroll Call, we do have the woman behind the voice of Siri. If that isn’t magical enough, we have The Kitchen Witch back to conjure up easy-to-make recipes for a Mother’s Day brunch. And Dan’s mom and/or grandmother will be live and unscripted.
She’s been asked millions, if not billions, of questions, yet most people might not be able to pick her out of a crowd. How is that possible? Susan Bennett is the voice that launched a million iPhones — she is the original real-life voice behind Apple’s Siri. Susan is also known as the voice behind ad campaigns for Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, Fisher Price, Ford, and McDonald’s. And she’s also toured with music legends Burt Bacharach and Roy Orbison. She’ll talk about all of that and more — and hopefully share some secrets.
Then, almost everyone has a favorite dish that makes them think of their mother. The Kitchen Witch, Lyndsay Wells, is back with some Mother’s Day-inspired recipes, from the perfect scrambled eggs for a Mother’s Day brunch to ideas that require no cooking skills whatsoever. Plus, will she be the person to finally convince host Dan J Kroll to eat his vegetables? Probably not, but you never know…
And Mother’s Day wouldn’t be complete without some sort of appearance from Dan’s mom or Nana. And just to make things interesting, it will all be a surprise. It will either be a Mother’s Day to remember… or he’ll be told to stand in the corner. Either way, it should make for interesting live radio.
